Innovators since 1935, the craftsmen of Schulmerich have brought the glorious sounds of bell music to more people and places than anyone else in the world.   From electronic carillons, handbells, MelodyChime® Instruments to the new MelodyWave® Instruments, you can count on Schulmerich for innovation, support, and quality that are absolutely second to none.

It's easy to see why Schulmerich English handbells are rung by more choirs, churches, schools, and institutions than any other. For four decades and more -- since 1962 -- we've been crafting bronze handbells with thoughtfully engineered features and carefully refined manufacturing techniques. The ingot which we purchase for our bell castings is certified by our ingot smelter to meet our demanding specification for pure bronze bell metal, which is a crucial element in producing bells of consistent tonal quality. And each Schulmerich handbell is assembled by dedicated, experienced craftsmen unsurpassed in their field.

In fact, each handbell that we craft has been processed through 26 precision operations and quality inspections. The result is a bell with
excellent tone, outstanding beauty, and exceptional durability.

With Schulmerich, You Have A Choice

For fine-tuning tonal qualities, there's the Select-A-Strike, our most popular clapper; it gives you nearly unlimited freedom for setting your bells' timbre or voicing. Or choose our Quick-Adjust clapper, easily hand-adjusted for soft, medium, or hard strike settings.

You can select handguard discs in classic black or optional black and gold; both feature bonded note identification. Our
Master Touch Guardian Disc also features an ergonomically designed contour to fit comfortably in the hand and permit longer sustain.

For easy transportation and storage, Schulmerich offers specially designed carrying cases. Each case has a nameplate noting the bells it contains, with room below for personalizing with the name of your group, church, or organization. Each set also comes with a tool kit, plus a catalog of available handbell music. We offer tables and foam pads, too, along with a full line of maintenance and
performance accessories.

An Affordable Investment

Schulmerich handbells are one of the most cost-effective ways to equip an entire group with first-rate musical instruments. What's more, they come in sets that can be expanded whenever your budget allows: Start small, and work your way up to the complete seven-octave, 85-note range as your group grows in size and sophistication.
